Zeus

We lost our much-loved Zeus on December 23, 2022.  Zeus was the pride of our program.  A strong and healthy male, he had perfect coloring: black with honey-colored legs, facial mask, and eyebrows, and a white patch on his chest. Zeus was a natural athlete.  He could run like the wind and jump unbelievably high, sometimes reaching our shoulders.  Yet behind his masculine appearance, he was a sweet and gentle soul who liked nothing more than some loving attention from us, his humans.

Zeus contracted Lyme Disease, despite being vaccinated and receiving his monthly tick medicine. It was an aggressive case, affecting his kidneys and other organs.

We will miss him…..always.
