Upcoming litters
When we started raising puppies, we quickly learned that we had to keep an eye on the future. Planning is part of what we do. We keep track of heat cycles and plan who to breed to whom. We think about how long to breed each female and, as part of that, we do what business people call succession planning. Who will take over when a much-loved female breeding dog retires? How can we ensure continuity of wonderful dogs with beautiful coats and calm, even temperaments?

A great match
Luna and Winston, also known as Lucky, are expecting their second litter of cockapoos on or around February 14, Valentine’s Day. They are a great match. Luna has all the best characteristics of a cocker spaniel. She is incredibly sweet with a blond and apricot coat, freckles, and big round brown eyes. Lucky is equally sweet. His coat is a beautiful shade of apricot. He has an innocent and playful personality and loves to engage with people and other dogs. These two love to play together and snuggle together on the couch. They follow each other around; they are obviously best friends.

Weight: 15-20 pounds
Colors: Blond and apricot, perhaps with some white patches
